A “Ray of Sunshine” has arrived in the high-end Italian goldsmith sector. This is the name of the unique piece with which Gismondi 1754 of Genoa, Italy, was honored at “The Couture Design Award 2022” in Las Vegas, the world’s most prestigious designer jewelry show, in the “Diamonds above $20K” category.\n<\/p>\n
The necklace, in white diamonds and fancy yellow, was among the three finalists for the “People’s Choice” category. Already in 2019, the luxury brand from Genoa had received “The People’s Choice” award with the necklace from the Essenza line, while in 2021, it was a finalist for the “Peoples’ choice” and “Haute Couture Editor’s Choice” categories, confirming it as one of the best two brands in the entire event.<\/p>\n
The award was collected by Massimo Gismondi, creative director and CEO of Gismondi 1754, who commented, “Winning is never easy, but to repeat is certainly something extraordinary. In 3 years of participating in Couture, we have won 2 times and came second in 2021. This confirms that we are on the right path to becoming a benchmark in the global jewelry scene. The creation of this piece of jewelry turned out to be complex, and I am glad the Couture judges recognized it as a special piece of jewelry for its artistic and creative value.” Then, the story of how the “Sunbeam” was born: “The inspiration came to me in 2020 during a vision of a sunrise when the first rays of the sun behind the mountain began to illuminate the sky creating a crown; it represented for me a magical rebirth to life, the importance of celebrating each new day with love and passion, for the people we love and for those lost.”<\/p>\n
The excellent results on order also confirm the success of Gismondi 1754 in the U.S. during the Couture Design Award 2022 in Las Vegas, a special retail sale for gold and diamond earrings was concluded for $740,000.
