It is called Colux, and it is a co-design platform for luxury interiors. Created by Florentine company Savio Firmino, it is among the projects selected for the New European Bauhaus initiative, the creative and transdisciplinary movement launched by the European Commission to connect Green Deal and living spaces.<\/p>\n

According to the company’s announcement, Colux enables the replication of workspaces, allowing real-time interactions between participants in design projects. Based on augmented and virtual reality technologies, the platform reduces material waste associated with physical modeling for a smaller carbon footprint.<\/p>\n

Savio Firmino developed the software and the platform, as part of the project coordinated by the Experimental Mobile Center, together with the University of Siena, University of Florence, and companies Marioni, Progenia and Amt Italia, assisted by the National Research Council (CNR). “Adopting new digital workflows makes sense if they help sustainable and inclusive development. COLUX is designed to do exactly that,”-says Cosimo Savio, president of Savio Firmino-“The purpose of the project is to connect the authors of a housing project: from architectural firms to builders, from interior designers to general contractors, from real estate agencies to the final client.”<\/p>\n

The Colux project began with funding of more than one million euros from calls dedicated to Research and Development from the Tuscany Region. The company is now working on getting to the point of establishing a specific start-up among partners with the help of professional financiers. To this end, it plans to launch a crowdfunding activity open to architecture, furniture, and real estate firms.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
